Wading
In yesterdays sky,
Sounds of life
About the stuffy room
When'd the mist get here?
Faceless
In falling leaves
Smells like lavender
Faceless
Wading
In yesterdays sky,
Sounds of life
About the stuffy room
When'd the mist get here?
Faceless
In falling leaves
Smells like lavender
Faceless
Spider webs on a corner ebbing
still probing, staring and confessing
a life now former, still hear the phone ring
the world no longer in sync
order, reorder- it grows warmer.
Mayan ruins
The snails
They color the stone
Back and forth.
Sounds like breeze
Under one umbrella
Trailing lights
On a mountain path.
Lightning!
Breaking through night clouds
A paper fan,
Here the smell of things
Our pillows, the dregs of rain
All in a kettle.
A moth escapes
A rain shower
Faceless,
Yawning Breeze
Deep in the mist
All mine
Lost in bamboo
Almost hidden in deep grass
My home village
Deep in moonlight
Where a river flows
Solitude in raindrops
And monsoon
Please, please inside
My house is yours,
Hang your masks on the wall
Throw away your armour
The neighbors don’t mind the clatter
They’re all deaf, you see
Their silence hangs
Like a red hot coin, straight from the fire;
A star hanging over them
From it a thousand beam of illuminationĀ
Whispers in an ancient languageĀ
Trees clocked under mist
A half moon lingers
The cat closes his eyes again
And turns his head
A spider’s web
From thorn to thorn
Silver and empty
Like the space
In the eyes of skin
A snake has shed
Then the leaves shuffles
They no longer part
And the image
Is gone
Frozen in amber
An ant’s pursuit
It’s doom
