Briefly a broken mirror
Then-
Submerged branch
Flying leaves and reflections
And over it flows a river.
Briefly a broken mirror
Then-
Submerged branch
Flying leaves and reflections
And over it flows a river.
Drawing themselves closer and closer
Couples, young men, old men
Each with a bench, right after the rain
A picture from my evening walk
You’re in the water
While I’m standing on the shore
Why do I feel your voice
Taking in my air.
I’d put you in a frame
But you flicker as the light fades
Falling away, like rain.
Autumn breeze
And jasmine tea
Bird by bird
An evening leaves.
Calm as a Koi pond
The surface unbroken
Why worry,
Such a reflection?
Red dragonfly
Drop a flower
Into fire
For another year.
Burning rivers
In one dark line.
Warm winds sweep in
Right over a graveyard;
I hear my neighbour sew
I hear the rain end
Again- I go back a page.
A man who lives far from town
Writes problems that make people frown
From them, you’d deduce
That a wee baby moose
Was really just Zeus.
Rainstorm
My footprints fade
Into the ones before.
Winding roads
The long road
To enlightenment.
Forests,like clouds,
Are very slow fireworks;
The densest part of a dream
Is when there’s nothing left to feel.
